Christmas Eve!

Oh my gosh I am sooooo excited! Tomorrow is our mid pregnancy anatomy scan. What is that you ask? It's an u/s that will show all our little baby's organs and inner workings and, (insert drumroll) the gender of Cletus or Mulva! I have had an inkling that our little nugget is a girl since the beginning, but the "reasons" that led to that assumption have all but disappeared. The acne, the ugly complexion, the general fatness - usually a sign that a little girl is inside stealing your beauty. However, most of that is gone. Just the high heartbeat - 158 bpm and the fact that I am indeed carrying low and wide remain. I do have to consider my height. With so much room for baby in my long torso, I imagine it's going to take awhile to use up all that space. So, lately Dan and I are thinking it might be a little slugger. It's a little silly to fuss about it now considering TOMORROW we get to see! We can finally start buckling down on names and it will all become real. It truly feels like Christmas Eve to me. This is one present I really want to open early.
